Businesses holding an automotive dealer, dismantler, rebuilder, wholesaler, junk, or scrap license are allowed to bid everywhere. Your ability to purchase any item is determined by the licenses you hold, the type of vehicle listed, the ownership documents provided on the vehicle, the location of the vehicle, as well as your location. In some states, the public may purchase salvage vehicles; in others, they may only purchase intact vehicles sold on an unbranded title, as well as motorcycles, boats, or jet skis. Signing up with a Registered Brokerallows you to purchase almost any item listed on the Copart site through Cleveland Pick-A-Part, Inc. a Registered Reseller. Simply choose and sign up directly with the Registered Brokerby paying the Registered Broker a security deposit ($400) and registration fee ($195 USD). Once the buyer successfully wins a vehicle auction, there is a transaction fee assessed and paid to CPAP.
